Looking for an electrician in Galway? Meet Cormac Ó Laoi, owner of Ó Laoi Electrical Services. Quality, professionalism, and customer satisfaction guaranteed.

Meet Cormac Ó Laoi, owner of Ó Laoi Electrical Services based in Galway, Ireland. Cormac has been working in the electrical trade since 2018 and has been self-employed for the past year.

Onlinetradesmen (OLT): Cormac, can you tell us a bit about your background and how you got started in the electrical trade?

Cormac: Well, I've always been interested in how things work and I enjoy problem-solving, so I decided to pursue a career in the electrical trade. I completed my qualifications in 2018 and have been working in the industry ever since.

OLT: That's great. And when did you decide to start your own business?

Cormac: I've always had an entrepreneurial spirit, and I saw an opportunity to provide high-quality electrical services to customers in the Galway area. So I decided to take the leap and start my own business last year.

OLT: What types of projects or jobs do you typically work on?

Cormac: We handle all aspects of the electrical trade, from residential to commercial and industrial projects. Our services include installation, maintenance, and repairs.

OLT: Do you have a favourite type of project or job that you enjoy working on?

Cormac: I don't really have a favourite type of work. I approach every job with the same level of professionalism and attention to detail, whether it's a small repair or a large-scale installation. Every job is important to us.

OLT: How do you approach a job to ensure customer satisfaction?

Cormac: The first step is to listen carefully to the customer's needs and requirements. We then provide our professional opinion and recommendations based on our experience and expertise. We always strive to exceed our customers' expectations and ensure that they are completely satisfied with our work.

OLT: What's the most important lesson you've learned in your career so far?

Cormac: I've learned that listening to the customer is absolutely critical. It's important to understand exactly what they want and to be able to provide them with the best possible service. Additionally, being punctual and trustworthy are key factors in building trust and long-term relationships with customers.

OLT: What advice would you give to someone starting in the electrical trade?

Cormac: I would say go for it. It's a challenging and rewarding career, and there's always a demand for skilled electricians. My advice would be to put yourself out there, work hard, and provide high-quality services. The rewards will follow.

OLT: Finally, how can customers get in touch with you to learn more about your services?

Cormac: Customers can view our ratings, learn more about our services and contact us to request a quote via our Onlinetradesmen profile. We're also available by phone or email, and we're always happy to answer any questions that customers may have.

Thank you, Cormac, for taking the time to speak with us today and for sharing your insights into the electrical trade and your approach to customer service.
