Hi, i qualified as a cabinetmaker making solid timber furniture from tropical hardwoods in Queensland Australia in 1991.
Since then I've gathered vast experience in many aspects of building. My work now ranges from one off pieces of furniture, kitchens, wardrobes, both 1st and 2nd fix carpentry right up to full house and shop renovation projects.
I have a joinery workshop based in Kildare where i produce any bespoke requirements.
I'm also very happy doing full design and project management of large renovation work and can supply and oversea all other trades as required.

I can't recommend Andrew highly enough - he did such a fantastic job of building and installing a custom plywood kitchen carcass for our renovation project at a very reasonable price. After speaking with many kitchen design companies, we felt that we were on the verge of committing to the design and configuration of a kitchen that might not end up suiting our storage needs and gradually evolving design ideas for the house. Rather than rushing into a potentially costly mistake, we decided to look for a carpenter to build us a sturdy kitchen carcass that we could customise later on. After speaking to kitchen companies we felt that they were putting too many obstacles in our way whereas Andrew immediately gave me confidence that we could achieve what we wanted to and at an extremely reasonable price. His advice over the phone about materials, design and finishing was fantastic. In the end, Andrew custom built our kitchen units and counter tops out of marine plywood and then delivered and installed them in a single day. He worked around a few unexpected obstacles, including positioning of pipework and electrics and was able to make adjustments and cutouts so that it all came together. I couldn't be happier that we now have a sturdy, functional kitchen that will stand up to some DIY and we can take our time to decide on how to finish it. Andrew is excellent at his craft and a lovely guy too. I could tell he genuinely cared about our project as if it were his own.

Simon recently completed Pannelling work for our bathroom, the job exceeded our expectations completely. From the outset of the project Simon took our budget into consideration which we were really grateful for. Simon's craftsmanship is 10 out of 10 , he left the bathroom really neat and tidy after himself and was lovely to deal with. I would have no hesitation recommending Simon for any project.
