How much will your electrician cost?

2020 Electrical Cost Guide

During normal working hours, a Dublin electrician will typically charge a call out fee between €70 – €90 +VAT and an hourly rate of €35 – €45 plus VAT, parts and materials. Day rates in Dublin generally start from €250.

Outside of Dublin, hourly rates range from €30 – €40 per hour plus VAT, parts and required materials.

If you are seeking an electrician outside normal working hours or weekends then expect to pay approximately 20% more – however if you have pre-booked an appointment, electricians tend to charge the standard day rate.

For bigger jobs, electricians will generally quote a set price including labour and materials.
