BK Engineering Design - Ratings

I have found Brendan of BK engineering design to be very professional and easy to work with. Brendan was working on a house and garage design for a home dwelling for me and my family here in Mayo and we are very happy with the results. His knowledge of house design along with the planning process have helped us greatly in working out the perfect house for us and our site. I highly recommend BK engineering design.

Brendan was very professional and helpful to work with. It was great that he had architechural vision aswell as being an engineer. His cababilities and flare for his work ensured there was no stone left unturned on my project. Brendan designed and drew up the plans for my 49sqm extension,He also re-designed the whole bottom floor off my house and submitted all the above for planning. As i plan to do alot off the work on my project myself brendan gave invaluable advice on all aspects of the work.He could draw my plans,survey and advise on all construction aspects thus saving me money. Overall im very happy with brendan as he was a one stop shop for all my requirements. I would highly recommend him .

We recently tendered for the services of an Architect for the planning and construction stage of a new 3 bed house in Sandyford, Dublin. We received many offers and were delighted when we found the services of BK Engineering as they had listened to our brief and submitted drawings to the planning authorities within 10 days of instruction. Brendan was the most professional of all architects we met and came with the added bonus of being the most cost effective by up to 100% in some cases. I have no hesitation in recommending BK Engineering and you will be off to a great start with your project by utilising all the experience that Brendan offers.

Location: Cashel, Co Tipperary My wife and I hired Brendan to design a house and get planning on a site outside the town. He was really efficient and we had our planning application submitted to the council within 3 weeks of our first site meeting. I would have no hesitation in recommend him to any couple looking to get planning.

Found Brendan very easy to work with, he listened to what we wanted and delivered a functional and attention to detail design. He optimised natural light, used high ceilings on our extension and we love the look of the natural stone and decking from the rear garden. Would recommend him highly to anyone thinking of extending their home.

We hired BK Engineering Design to supervise construction of our house. Brendan valued the construction costs for the bank, did the legal land transfer map for our solicitor, supervised and certified the construction from foundation to completion, issued the stage payment Certs so we could draw down our mortgage and completed the BER cert. It was great that BK Engineering Design was able to cover all these areas and we were not going from Engineer, to Architect, to QS, to BER guy like some of our friends had to do. Would recommend him highly.

I hired BK Engineering Design to design a new house, to complete a Site Suitability Assessment and to lodge a Planning Application to Galway County Council. He did a quality job, efficient and was always (and is) available to answer the smallest of questions from build costs to energy efficiency matters. I always hear of the nightmare involved in getting Planning, Brendan looked after everything and we got our planning no prob. Would defiantly recommend him.
