I called him to change a pump in the press room, unfortunately he didnt give me a receipt and he didnt balance the heating system in the end. Just very disappointing and unprofessional behaviour, I have to call another professional and fork other costs to fix it...

Fitted a new water pump, and ever since the cold water pressure has been variable. Contacted Colin by phone and he said he thinks he knew what the problem was and would get back to me as soon as possible on when he could come round to take a look at it. Have heard nothing since and several calls and texts have gone unanswered.

You don't seem to have a minus star rating available, which is what I would need to rate Colin Browne, who arranged to come to quote this afternoon, knowing that I had to take a half day off from college to let him in. He neither showed up nor had the courtesy to answer the many calls and messages I left on his mobile. Why reply to my job and make arrangements you have no intention of fulfilling. I am left with no heating or hot water and no free time next week to address it. Thanks Colin Browne, you don't deserve the name of tradesman, and I suggest that tradesman.ie have a good luck at the calibre of people that you allow trade on your site. You're not doing yourselves any favours. Oh, and customers, avoid Colin Browne like the plague, treat him with the same respect he treats customers and find somebody else
