I am Diarmuid Kelly of Diarmuid Kelly Architects. I have recently designed and supervised a project on which Construction 22 was the main contractor. The works were to a period dwelling which was being restored and extended. It was located in the Dublin area. The project was difficult as most of the original features were maintained while bringing the building up to modern insulation and energy efficiency standards. When opening up for investigation it was discovered that sections of the structure and fabric had deteriorated due to water ingress. All of this was made good in a manner sympathetic to the character of the building. The programme was tight and became more so given the additional work to be done. I found Sean of Construction 22 to be very experienced in the type of work required. Willing to suggest and carry out innovative methods of construction and to generally be available to assist with every element of the project. He employed skilled craftsmen who completed the work in a very satisfactory manner. The original tender was comparative and additional works were carried out for reasonable rates. I would have no hesitation in recommending Construction 22 to any future client

I am Rory O’Connor and am a client of Construction 22. They recently carried out a major extension and renovation to my house and renovation to my House in DublinI had received tenders from several contractors and found Construction 22 to be competitive. Many unexpected issues arose during the works which were dealt with in a professional manner and resolved to my satisfaction.The level of workmanship was of a high standard and was sympathetic to the original features of the houseVariations did occur but costs were agreed at a reasonable levelAlthough some unexpected works were carried out the programme was not extended by an unreasonable periodI was generally vert satisfied with the standard of workmanship, the cost and the programme and would recommendConstruction22 as a main contractor
