I hired David to clean up my garden, cutting back shrubs, weeding, power washing etc. He called out and gave me a quote and agreed to start the next day at 9:30. They showed up sometime after 11:30 and started work cutting down shrubs including some I had asked the day before to be left. Towards the end of the day informed me they couldn’t do the power washing as I didn’t have an outside tap. For this only €50 was deducted from the price although I suggested it should be nearer to €100. Then I wanted to pay by card but they weren’t set up to accept card payments. Eventually I paid them in cash and they went on their way. My driveway was littered with garden cuttings and I discovered a couple of days later that they had filled my green bin with garden clippings and soil, so crammed in that I haven’t yet been able to empty it and can’t use my green bin for recycling. I contacted David by email to give him an opportunity to fix this and after a week he responded and agreed to send someone to empty the bin. That was almost 2 weeks ago and still no sign of this being done. Needless to say my experience with this tradesman has not been good and unfortunately I would not be able to recommend him. I have used onlinetradesman several times in the past and this is the first time I’ve had any problems.
