Avoid at all costs. Should be 0 stars. Hired Jim Bray, Dorset Construction limited, to build an extension on our house. Had to employ and engineer to inspect, and ALL work was substandard after structural cracking appeared. He never put in majority of required supports, used under sized main support beam which is not certified or fire compliant as main support. Pitch on roof is below regulations with the incorrect tiles so full roof needs replacing along with new structural support beams internally. After contacting Jim was advised he could not get the building certified which means we could never sell. He also mentioned that he has no insurance and when we advised we had been onto our solicitor he said that it was pointlrss as he had been made bankrupt last year, but was stilll operating a limited company. Please do yourself a favour and avoid James (Jim) Bray and Derset construction at all costs.
