Hometherm Insulation - Ratings

Earlier in the summer we sought advice from Homethern regarding the heating system and its performance at our home on Stillorgan Road, Donnybrook Dublin 4. We indicated our interest in replacing the old gas fired boiler (which had been in place for more than three decades) by a modern efficient condenser gas fired boiler. We also expressed interest in significantly improving the heat insulation of the house.We found the discussion with Hometherm informative and helpful and we decided to to use a gas fired Bosch WORCESTER boiler with the control system serving three zones, cavity wall heat insulation throughout the house and BASF spray foam heat insulation throughout the attic. We welcomed the careful planning by Daragh O'Halloran and Tony Madden of the positioning of the condenser boiler which involved the relocation of the gas line and the location of the three zone control valves which required plumbing re-routing and rearrangement. The work was started on Tuesday 23 July and was completed within three days,competently executed and to a good standard.Our experience with Hometherm was satisfactory. The complete work was moderately priced and we are glad to recommend Hometherm's courteous, competent and efficient services.

I wish to confirm that a short time after your company carried out insulation of our house on January 30, 2013 I received from Hometherm an Invoice marked “Paid”, an EnviroBead Cavity Wall Insulation Guarantee, and an Envirobead & Envirobead Plus Cavity Wall Insulation Certificate No. 08/0302. Following an inspection of the work by the NSAI, I was asked by the inspector to allow him to see the specification on the polystyrene beads. While I wasn’t sure that I had this document I told him that I would have to look for it and it might take some time. I assured him that I was happy with the polystyrene beads and he then said there was no need to look for the correspondence received from Hometherm. After he left I found the above documents received from Hometherm which includes the requested specification. I wish to point out that I was extremely happy with the service provided by Hometherm. They were a pleasure to deal with and I would have no hesitation in recommending them for this work. Yours faithfully, George P. Hughes
