We used to have the heating on all day long and we’d still be frozen in our house. I heard about the €4000 grant for insulation. So I decided that I could invest in my house and save money on my heating bills and sure how often do you get a few bob back from the government. Now, even during the coldest winter in 47 years, we reduced the time our heating was on during the day by 40 to 50%. By getting External Wall Insulation, it’s like wrapping your house in insulation, with a new exterior that’s guaranteed by NSAI to last for at least 30 years. I got Insulex to do mine and I’d highly recommend them. They were professional, obliging, and nice to deal with. All the work was done on the exterior of the house so we had no mess inside. As someone who was interested in insulating my house now for quite a while I finally got around to doing some research on the matter , as external wall insulation is in its infancy here in Ireland which is not the case in other European countries, I got some quotations from a few installers and asked as many questions as possible, and then after going out and seeing work which they carried out I decided to go with Insulex as the work they did seemed to a very high quality and the price was also very competitive. The help of there sales staff in dealing with the whole concept of insulation was second to none , after many consultations we decided to go with Insulex a decision that proved wise because everything we were told would happen during the course of the work did happen and everything went nice and smoothly. The on site workers always started before 8 am and went about their business with no fuss and never once asked for as much as a cup of water or to enter the house for anything, and anytime one needed to talk to them the foreman was always on hand to answer any queries one might have, they would always leave the site in a clean and tidy condition each evening, When the job was completed we where very happy with the high standard of workmanship and the finish colour was exactly as we had agreed to. For us Insulex did everything they said they would do in the most professional way and to the highest standard possible, and there was always great support to be had if you rang the Office, and for us, we found we were able to trust Insulex to do a job well and safely.
