Jason's father, Tom Mooney, did the job, ie, skim-coated a small ceiling and filled a gap around its perimeter.
He arrived when he said he would, and did what appears to be a good and clean job.
My only complaint is that he plastered AROUND the large-diameter light-fitting instead of removing it, which is a simple job. I 'd have removed it myself only I assumed he would do it. Annoying shortfall.
