It was a pleasure to have John working on my ceiling and fitting in the sink. He is the best professional tradesman I have ever met and I am very grateful for my friend who has recommended him to fix my house. John has been very industrious, courteous, honest, a perfectionist (vacuumed my carpets after fixing in the ceiling, and cleaning the bathroom after installing the sink), friendly and a true Irish gentleman. He has even bought the sink for me at a reasonable good deal!! He had gone the extra mile to work on my house- and for that I am very grateful! He has made my house a home again. It is beautiful! I would call on him to fix my house again if there was any trouble in the future, and I would strongly recommend him to anyone who needs fixing in the house. He has indeed done a great job to my house. Well done John.

I’ve been very impressed, too, with the way you have co-ordinated the trades on site to ensure the smooth running of the project. Work has progressed quickly and efficiently and it’s been great knowing that you will turn up when you say you will. If the weather has been too bad, you always have let me know you wouldn’t be coming. Good communication is always very much appreciated. I write this letter in recommendation John O Donoghue as a general contractor. I had the pleasure of working with John in 2011 on the demolition of our existing house, the ground work and building of our new 2,000 square foot house and I can recommend John highly and without reservation. Under the advice of our architect we went to public tender to select our builder. What initially attracted me to John was not only did he come highly recommended but he was comprehensive, accurate and very competitive in his initial assessment of the scale and cost of our project. Throughout the course of the build, John was a consummate professional and chose and managed the sub-contractors well. Our job was done with care and precision. In addition, he is extremely clean and tidy in the workplace. We are currently living in the house for four years with the satisfaction of experiencing no structural problems or faults. We love this house, we love the design and layout, we love the workmanship and most importantly, we appreciate the solid integrity of the building which - without fault - stands up to time, wear and very active living.
